Duels, prefire, aim arena, 2v2, and 5v5 practice stay on the roadmap and separate from ranked Elo.
Sign up and link Steam to play.
TDS uses Steam's official sign-in and API verification flow to confirm your SteamID64 for match integrity, duplicate-account prevention, match history, and CS2 stats. TrainDontStop never receives or stores your Steam password.
Step 1: TrainDontStop account
If you are not signed in, the Queue button directs you toward account creation or sign-in. After login, return here and continue the ranked setup.
Step 2: Link Steam to Play Ranked
Your Steam login is handled through Steam. TrainDontStop does not receive or store your Steam password. We only use the Steam verification result and SteamID64 needed for CS2 matchmaking, match integrity, and player stats.
Queue -> Accept -> Auto Map -> Connect
The ranked flow is simple: queue, accept, get the map, connect. No public queue opens unless the backend says your account is allowed.
Queue
Eligible open-beta players join the 5v5 ranked queue and see a queue timer.
Accept
When a match is found, players get a sound, a dominant modal, a 45-second countdown, and accepted count.
Auto Map
Maps are selected automatically. No voting, no vetoes, no comfort-pick abuse.
Connect
The match-ready card shows the public connect string and a copy action for participants.

TDS CS2 Ranked Beta
TDS CS2 is live in open beta. Ranked access, matchrooms, reports, warmup direction, and admin review tools are the current public focus.
Now
Players can create or sign in to a TrainDontStop account, link Steam, join the ranked beta, and use matchrooms as access opens. Region pages should describe the current beta honestly: West and Central NA are the focus, but match availability depends on player activity.
Routing
We are building around low-latency regional play, but we will not promise a fixed ping for every player. Connect controls are only shown after the required account and matchroom checks pass.
Later
More regional capacity will be added when the player base supports it. Ratings, routing, reports, and matchroom tools will keep improving throughout beta as real players test the system.
No voting. No comfort-pick abuse.
We pick the map. You prove you can play the pool. TDS ranked tests your skill across the full competitive map pool instead of turning the queue into one-map comfort picks.
Automatic selection
TDS selects the map after all players accept and the match room is prepared.
Fair variety
The goal is to avoid obvious immediate repeats without letting players dodge weak maps.
No veto UI
There is no vote panel, no captain veto, and no ranked comfort-pick lane planned for 5v5 ranked.
F through S ranks with A+ between A and S.
Everyone starts at 350 Elo, which starts you at B. Every ranked match counts immediately. S Rank is open-ended at 700+ Elo.
Know why you gained or lost Elo.
Every match should explain why your Elo moved. Wins matter first, round impact matters next, and empty stats do not get treated like real impact.
Round impact
Opening value, trades, objectives, 2K+ conversion, CT holds, and clutch outcomes explain more than raw scoreboard totals.
Deep stat cards
Post-match cards will explain rating movement with reason bullets, category scores, and stat quality labels.
Stat quality honesty
Stats are limited while live stat ingestion is being tested. Advanced micro-stats are future/limited until proven.
Top 10
The ranked leaderboard will show real players only after official rating is live.

Rules and Match Integrity
Ranked only works when accepts, connects, stats, and match results are trustworthy.
Accept Timer
Match found gives players 45 seconds to accept. Repeated missed accepts trigger cooldowns.
Connect Timer
After all players accept, the match lobby gives players 5 minutes to connect. Failing to connect wastes a server slot and can trigger stronger cooldowns.
Abandons
Leaving a live match is treated more seriously than missing an accept.
Cheating / Smurfing / Boosting
Cheating, smurfing, boosting, and match manipulation are reviewable and can void matches.
No-Rating / Void
If a match has integrity issues, server failure, confirmed cheating, or corrupted stats, TDS can mark it no-rating or void.
TDS CS2 Leaderboards
Search players and compare ranked Elo, wins, streaks, and stat leaders once official rating is live.
Search unlocks when official leaderboard data is live.
